Impressions from an outsider
I just wanted to drop this board off a posting in here. I've been lurking at S2ki for a while and while I Am not yet vintage or do I own an S2000, this Vintage part of the board is the best car related I've seen ANYWHERE. I read up on various boards and most people I run into at 18-22 years old, mostly male, into street racing, etc..just being kids.
I may not be vintage, nor own an S2000 but this 30 year old, female, 99 Prelude owner feels more at home here than anywhere else I've seen.
Just had to get that off my chest...

How fortunate!!! That's just what we've been looking for. A female Prelude owner. You don't have to be old and crusty, nor own an S2000 to hang here. Vintage is a state of mind. That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

Well I still feel young but until recently I lived in a college town. Funny thing is I still felt 21 just the 21 years olds came off as 12 to me anyhow.
Or better yet, I still feel young just not as stupid.

Well like I said it's hard seeing is how only recently I got into cars kinda sorta. (Was given an old 86 Prelude Si and for the first time in my life I was like WOW, so driving can be fun) and I went out for purchased a 99 Prelude but most of the Honda sites are populated by people 10 years my junior who just talk about street racing (illegal), degrading women to some degree, or just general 20 year old stuff and I dont really relate to that stuff really.

Anyway, welcome to vintage. It's not just a forum, its an adventure!

WOW...thanks Vamp. I'm glad you like it out here. We aim to please. I'm sure Rob (ralper) will be thrilled with your comments, too.
