Check out 42nd St. Camera shop in NYC. That's where Jim's came from and it was the best price at the time. He got it last year:

Guys i hate to be a pain on this but do not ever buy your cameras at the lowest price place. Buy from a reputable dealer I really dont want to see any of you guys get fleeced.

As a pro i think i know what im talking about, there are more shady camera dealers out there than you want to know.

click this link for an idea of what i am talking about

^^^Some good info, Dave. Just proves that the lowest price is not necessarily in your best interest. B&H FTW. (BTW, Crutchfield also has an excellent reputation, and they are in Virginia, not Brooklyn)

I'll take other pics tonight. I just wanted to see what the camera could do, and I wanted to try uploading the pics to my computer, which I did using Google/Picasa.

Pretty clear pic, IMO. Color of the wall is off though....

I'll post a few more later, so if anyone happens to be interested in the camera, you'll get an idea of the pic quality.

A few more then I need to put her camera away.

Taken with older 6 megapixel Olympus at next to highest resolution

With the Nikon on auto settting, just did some cropping, not sure what to do about the yellow eyes.

Used one of the auto settings, for portrait as well as Macro setting, no cropping

I really like the camera, but I'm old fashioned, I still like the option of a view finder. It just feels weird taking pics without the view finder. If this camera had one, maybe I'd buy another one just for me.
