The fluffy snow today in Philly was weird. I left the house in the P* about 6:45 with light flurries....no snow on the ground; got to Malvern (20 mi commute) about 7:30 and no snow. Came out of office about 4:15 pm and car was covered with a 1/2 INCH - 1 INCH (patricia!). Drove home on snowless roads....until I got to the 200' common uphill service drive to our garage area: 1-2 INCHES of snow and slippery

By the time I manuevered and backed into the space in front of garage door (S sleeping in there), I realized that I had just PACKED DOWN A BUNCH OF FLUFFY SNOW and would now have to scrape it loose to shovel it off You can share my pain here:

You had snow and at lunch today we had a heat wave.

In 30 minutes the temp when from 67 to 76. There was a "hot" wind that came thru that felt like my wife had turned on the blow dryer. I LOVED IT!

Did you mean to say 1/2 inch? Or did you really mean 1/2', or 1/2 foot?
"Half an inch plus" as in, somewhere between half an inch and an inch.
