Default It's Summer --Almost.

The Summer Solstice is a 7:42 PDT, 10:42 EDT today.in the northern Hemisphere. Today is considered the first day of summer. Tomorrow is the longest day of the year. It's also Winter Solstice in he Southern Hemisphere.

I don't post in this forum any more, but I'm breaking my silence for my annual summer update.

9,000 is good for a redline but not wind speed

At 10:30am heat index was 95 here already. Hard wind out of the south, which is only bringing hotter and more humid air up and certainly did not make running any more pleasant given my only running route is out (south) and back (north). I guess it helped a bit on the way back. Certainly an adjustment though given we have had mostly milder temps and lots of rain through yesterday. But... its summer so I dont mind that much!
