I have awesome powers -- I post here that I'm pulling for a Padres/Twins WS and now both of those teams are 0-2, facing elimination. Hmmm. Maybe I should start pulling for the Yankees....
And thank you!

With the Yanks out of it, I hope the Mets go all the way now. Wanted to see a subway series but need the Yanks to hold up their end of the deal. Would like to see them trade Arod to somewhere. He just can not come through in the big ones.

If George keeps paying his salary, I'd love to see him back here. You guys are crazy.

I don't think NYC is big enough for both AROD and Jeter. One will have to go and it will not be Jeter.

There will be changes. The problem with the Yankees is that the team is built for the long haul (pitching is good and hitting is ver good). But in the playoffs, defense will usually beat offense (same in football).

The Yankee formula in the late 90's was pitching and clutch hitting. They didn't have the power hitters they have today.

Sadly for me, I get to use my off season avatar much earlier then I had hoped.

I'm sure the Yankees tanked to make the Red Sox fans feel better about their season. They are a very giving and thoughtful team.

A-yup. Glad to see the plan had the Cards in a tie, just to make things interesting. HPH
