Cardinals were up 3 games to 1 against the Tigers and the Tigers came back to win the World Series.

Cardinals shortstop David Eckstein just won a 2006 Z06 for MVP in the World Series.

Way to go Cardinals!!! I can't say I was rooting for you, since I am a PADRE fan.........so you can understand.

Also stoked that Eckstein won the MVP. He deserved it for those clutch hits the past 2 games. Besides the fact that we share the same first name, we are also built the same with the same height and weight. It was like rooting for myself when he was up. I even explained to my Mom as we watched some games together , that THAT is how I would look if I stepped up to the plate in the pros. GO SHORT PEOPLE!

and oh yeah................go cards

We wuz robbed. Actually I knew my metsies would find a way to lose.

Congratulations go to the Cardinals, my second favorite team in the National League.

It really is a shame that the Tigers had to lose. I like both teams.

All of that said, wait til next year!

He always pissed me off when he was in the AL. The guy would crowd the plate, not move when they pitched inside, and then get talked about for how "scrappy" and "hard luck" he was because he got hit by so many pitches.

But he did have a good series, I must grant him that.
