I liked his movies. It was the silly, moronic slapstick that reminded me of some of the funnymen from the past. I didn't so much like him on the telethons or in later life. I know he raised a lot of money for
"his" kids but I couldn't help but feel the telethons were more about him than anything else.

Maybe, but raising over 2 billion dollars to help "his" kids far overshadows this perception.
