Default Just 10 more years!

I can't believe it. My S2000 is 15 years old. In just 10 more years it'll be 25 and perfect to show at Pebble Beach. Laugh if you like, but I fully well intend to win in the "Production Class". As a matter of fact, I've already made a spot in my study for the trophy.

I've never owned a car this long. And yet, to me it still seems like a brand new car. Granted, I don't drive it that often, after 15 years it only has 38,000 miles, but still, it's a 15 year old car that looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. And it's a 15 year old car that still thrills me every time I drive it.

So, in 10 more years we go to Pebble Beach for the Concours. I expect all of you to be there to cheer my S2000 on!.

Mines an 01 with about 230k original miles on it now. However there isn't much left that's original anymore other then some of the sheet metal and interior lol Everything else has been replaced or modified for track. Its still streetable though and gives me a lot of joy after 13 years of ownership. No concours action for me! Glad someone is out representing though.

Is there a Production Class Modified division? Stiletto is 15 years old as well.

Well while Rob is showing at Pebble, you can always go over to Concours D'leMons.

In another month (May 19th) I look forward to writing my 10-year ownership review of my S2000. Same boat, it's the longest I've ever owned a car, but I bought mine with 36k miles on it and 4 years old; I have also put about double the miles you have since I sit at about 109k right at the moment. But my mileage has slowed way down since I bought a second car (TSX) to drive daily in 2011; I hit 100k miles back on 4/5/2013. Swing by IL when you drive out to Pebble in 10 years, I'll convoy with you.

Maybe we'll swing by in the "P" car. We have thoroughly enjoyed our S2000 and the odometer reading is about 94K. Rick is going to make it his daily driver soon, so not sure if it will be around in 10 more years.

Rob, I think you would have enjoyed your car had you driven it more, vs saving it for Pebble Beach.
