Just in time for top down drives
Leaving for Naples, Fla. in the morning. I am going from Delaware to Fla. so maybe I can coast since it is downhill. Still dependent on oil and still crawling at a snails pace to develop alternative sources. Profits skyrocekting for the big oil companies and the Arabs ride in gold plated Bentleys. Just stay bent over.
I passed an Exxon station today where the price of premium was up to $3.79 per gallon up twenty cents since yesterday? Tell me that the gas in those tanks were based on the hike in crude prices yesterday on the futures market.
I just returned from the local Costco out here on the left coast (Orange County). $3.73 for Regular and $3.93 for 91 Premium - the cheapest prices around. I don't use Costco fuel in the S and I will need gas when I drive it this weekend so looks like +- $4.05 for Unocal or Chevron Premium as of 30 minutes ago. Thank goodness it gets 20-25 mpg in normal to spirited driving. It is my "greenest" car.
I paid $3.99 per gallon in NM for diesel fuel last week, but I only have to refuel once from Houston to Durango. (I don't bring the S to Colorado in the winter time.) Diesel is $3.85 here in the Four Corners now. That's a few cents more than premium fuel.

on this. Supply is not an issue. This is all because the speculators can't shut their mouths.
I realize it's very different where you live.
