Here in Orange County of Southern California, our highest grade (91 octane) is well over $4.00/gallon but car drives on a perfect day still beckon us.

^Lined up for a drive on Saturday morning, after Cars and Coffee in Irvine.

^My blue hottie with Jerry's (Spokes Man) NFR behind me.

^Premium gas was $4.139/gallon but doesn't show in this photo.

If the experts are correct we may be in line for $200 a barrel oil in the near term. I'm guessing that means $8-10 a gallon fuel depending on grade.

That's the same as Ireland so, but it's expected to rise to €2 a litre here by the summer which is nearly $13 a gallon

Paid $3.44 for regular yesterday at an Exxon (had a gas card) that was just north of Fredericksburg, VA. Regular is $3.59 here in N.VA. Oh, BTW, we get the best gas mileage from Shell but used the gas card just to get rid of it. Got it when I gave blood but since we don't buy Exxon or BP gas, I was reluctant to use it.

If gas reaches $10 a gallon, I'm moving south where I don't need a car, and buying a plug-in electric motorcycle for the commute and keeping my current motorcycle for weekend fun.
