Default Lasik Surgery

Folks, last night I had the Lasik procedure. Because of the shape of one of my eyes one eye was done with lasik and my left eye was done with a procedure called PRK. The results are better than I hoped for. I went for my follow up visit this morning and except for a little blurriness both eyes are at 20/20! My restrictions are no driving for one more day, no swimming or hottubs for 2 weeks, and no excersice for one wek. The only thing i need to do is drops four times a day for one week. It is remarkable that after 54 years I can see perfectly. No pain whatsoever during the procedure, a little discomfort last night.
The doctor asked why I wanted to have it done and I told him there were two reasons:
1. I have been assigned to keep an eye on Ruined and Granny next weekend.
2. I want to really be able to see what goes on in room 314!
He understood completley!!

Thanks to all for your goodwishes. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns, I'll be more than happy to talk to you.

Maury

Well, since granny will only be there on Saturday night does that mean that Ruined will be bad the other nights?

So, are you volunteering to have room 314?

I'm glad your surgery is a success.

The surgery doesn't change my inability to read close up. I will have to resort back to reading glasses. For example I can see my monitor perfectly but I will need reading glasses for the keyboard. There are trade offs with the procedure but being active in exercise programs and things like driving it was well worth the trade off.
