Default Let's support Fall Colors

Ok folks, we've all seen Gridgirls post now falling to the bottom of this page. I know some of us were upset with how FC was off, then on again and some of us didn't like the format. But the folks who put it on didn't do it to offend us. They were trying to keep something good going when it looked like it was going to end. Anyway, the point is, good intentioned members of the S2Ki community did all they could. Sadly, they are well short of breaking even.

While I expect we will put together great Vintage events, I still plan to go to Fall colors in the future and I don't want to see the event die for financial reasons. For that reason, I have decided to support the event and buy a few of the remaining items that they have for sale. Please know that even if they sell everything they have for the prices they are asking, they will still fall well short of breaking even. I hope I am not offending or embarrassing anybody by posting this.

If you don't agree with my appeal to help these folks out, I would take it as a personal favor if you did not flame the event or the effort to help them out.

Anyway, they have things to fit any budget. You might want to PM Gridgirl to see what shirt sizes they have left.

Remember folks, what goes around comes around. We will want folks to support our events in the future and good will has no price tag.

Thanks for reading this and considering my request.

I had an absolute blast at FC 2005! I can't wait for next year.

See you there, Bill! (Probably hear you there, too... )

I bought one of the "Track Instructor" t-shirts! Made me feel really important. Then took it off because I'm allergic to cotton.

Bill,

Thank you for posting.

Excellent write up, I couldn't agree more.

Thanks for your support,

John Oldt

PS---Jonas all the shirts are 100% cotton as far as I know. How about a piece of Under Armor long sleeve underneath, would that work?

That's OK - now my wife gets to walk around with a Track Instructor t-shirt! I find it pretty hot! You know what they say about instructors - if you don't do it right the first time, you have to do it over until you get it right.

(She gets all my great t-shirts from S2K events.....)
