Default Lunar eclipse tonight

Tonight will be the first lunar eclipse in 2-1/2 years. Apparently the east coast is a good place to be if you want to see the eclipse but it will be seen across the entire USA. Here's the story:

I hope we can see it, but today is going to be cloudy here.

We should have a good view here. If it works out I'll try to get some pics.

I copied this from the AIM page.

Today's Horoscopes: March 03, 2007

Horoscope by Rick Levine

A picky Virgo Full Moon Eclipse at 6:21 pm EST is more complex than careful as it opposes unpredictable Uranus. It may appear as if it's too late for cool-headed logic and we want total freedom now. However, in our eagerness to be free from responsibility, we might sever ties without considering the consequences of our actions. We would be wise to remember that our imaginations are running wild and impulsive behavior will not ultimately make us happier.

Great pics! Did you take those?

Mike, I hope you get some -- it's rainy here so we won't be watching any eclipse. On the other hand, we desperately needed the rain.

Too bad it won't be visible here. It's windy and crystal clear.

It's clear here right now and I can see everything in the Eastern sky except the moon. Maybe it'll be dark enough to see in a few minutes. But I doubt we'll see totality.
