People are calling in to the radio stations here in the SF Bay area are saying voter turnout is nuts. More folks than people have ever seen before.

What's it like where you are?

Check out Ralper's "Vote" thread. Some folks have already reported in.

As I said there, turnout was about the same. New voting procedures made the wait over an hour. Despite the wait and the rain, people were in good spirits. Out of 6 new touch screen voting machines, 1 wasn't working (or, 16.666% of the machines were down ).

Same as every other year -- in/out in a flash--no waiting, no line.

Here in rural central MA, voting is pretty much a non-event. Not that I'm complaining.

20 minute wait in the middle of the morning...Turnout appears to be pretty high. I think it's because of our Governor's race more than anything. Indiana'a 11 electoral votes have been red for years now.

"Billy" is articulate and knowledgable. I like reading his posts... serious and otherwise.

Yes he is. And, in fact, we're currently debating the Electoral College in the Corner.

The fact that he's a complete booze hound with no life just adds to the mystery.
