I will be heading to Charleston, SC for this. Actually, Myrtle Beach as I had to bribe the +1 with beach time to get us close to totality!

^Thank you, Deb. Good to know.

I made changes to my plans. Instead of Denver flights, I cancelled those and will be flying to Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday, Aug 20th and leaving Monday, Aug 21st. It's much closer to the path of the total eclipse than Denver, at about 34 miles south. I had hoped to see my son in the Denver area but he's going to be seeing it with his dad in his dad's motorhome.

Anyone in the area of Kansas City?

Don't forget the BBQ. While visiting my nephew and his family there, we went to Joe's BBQ, the original location which is in a gas station! According to many, this is the best of many great KC style BBQ joints. https://www.joeskc.com/

You're welcome.
