My luck in the market hasn't changed any lately. A stock I bought three weeks ago just dropped 15% in one day because a government announcement yesterday means delays in big revenues for them at least until next year.

After last years market performance there are a number of great dividend producing stocks to be had at some very reasonable costs

I was thinking I should buy Apple when they announced their 'school book' program.... but didn't. The wife was still after me to buy Apple two/three weeks ago for $400. I should have listened, it's at $540. Last December it was in the $300s. Would'a, should'a, could'a.

Happily we bought it in the 2s! The more interested I became in Apple computers and devices, the more convinced I was that it was going to be a good stock.

My wife bought in at 100 and change.
I told her she was nuts.
I told her to sell at $300, but she doesn't appear to listen very well.

She does seem to enjoy reminding me of that.

I'd like to buy some more Apple, but I'm reluctant to increase my basis of $86/share. However, I just read an article quoting Woz saying Apple is going to $1000/share. Really would not surprise me; that would be a fair multiple with their growth. I guess I'll just hold what I have, eh?

We seem to be sliding down today. Looks like a global problem.
