A NINE hour layover is pretty abusive! Don't they have another outbound flight they could put you on?

Though with nine hours you should be able to see something of Miami. We just prefer to get right to our destination...that's one long travel day for you.

You're not kidding it's a long day, but that's our only option.

Well, you can rest when you get to Aruba.

Sit in a chair, stick your toes in the sand ( a drink with an umbrella is optional here) and think of me, for just one minute.....Barefoot in the sand, sounds sooooooooo good right about now. We got a "surprise" snow storm yesterday. 1-3" of predicted snow turned into about 7-9" of snow.

Have fun in Aruba. We haven't been there in many years. Best weather in the Caribbean, as long as the trade winds are "gentle" trade winds.

Yeah - he can laugh cause he knows his way around.

But as one who sort of knew his way around in the '70s and was there a couple of weeks ago:

A road system which has always been fabled for its confusion has only grown larger and more complex.

If you're going to rent a car for the day (and I would) spend the extra bucks for the GPS unit, go have some fun, and get back to the airport an hour or so before your flight.
