Mid Coast Maine
We recently enjoyed a road trip in the S, of course to Mid Coast Maine.
We stayed at a lovely motel in Rockport. We visited Rockland, Boothbay Harbor and the Botanical Gardens, and Camden, Maine. We didn't have the best weather, but we made the best of it. Back to reality tomorrow.
Here are a few pics and a link to a slideshow (use password Vintage if needed).

Lainey,

We took a 2400 Mile road trip to the North East in June of 2004 in the S. We REALLY enjoyed Camden, and stayed an extra day. Bar Harbour was WAY too touristy for our taste.
Nice pics. You do have a good eye for composition. Thanks for sharing.

Matt - see first post for password. Nice pics! As I've posted before we love that area, especially Boothbay Harbor. The gardens are spectacular. Mixing it up this year by going to Ogunquit end of July.

Thanks, Deb. The gardens were very nice, however, we were a bit early in the blooming season, but that was the price we paid for being in the area before the 4th, and not having to deal with the crowds.
Thanks, Matt. Yes password is Vintage.

Thanks for sharing pics, Lainey. We are really bummed out that we cannot make our usual "September" visit to Maine....usually staying in Boothbay.
Did you get out to Pemaquid Lighthouse? Such a beautiful spot... (Maybe your pic is Pemaquid but cannot tell from the context)

Jerry, The week is already starting to blur. We did go to Pemaquid, I had to look back at some pics. We also went to lighthouse at Rockland Breakwater (that one was not open) and the one on Owl's Head. I believe it is the Pemaquid Light, as photo ops at Owl's head weren't great.
Edited: because I'm forgetful as to where we went.
