Default midnite auto

you've heard the phrase even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then....
I was disgusted with how dirty the DD was but too lazy to pull out the hose and wash it.
Of course then the dog yacked on the hallway carpet last night and I had to pull the hose out anyways to wash down the carpet.
By that time it was very dark out so it was almost cleaning by braille.
This morniongs daylight would tell me how good a job I did.

turns out not bad except for the rear end.... eh not so good.
but at least it got somewhat clean before the cold air settled in today.

Nothing like the need to hose down a carpet.

Rick took advantage of the warmer weather and washed and waxed the Jeep and the WRX this weekend but he did it in the light of day.

My three blue Hondas are all dirty. I'm just too lazy to get out there and wash them. It's cold, too. For here.

^^

OMG it's been unbelievably cold! Truly unbearable! Lows in the 40s overnight. Highs only into the 50s during the day. I have had to break out my gloves and scarves. I'm even wearing socks regularly! Can you believe it?!

It may even dip into the upper 30s on New Year's Eve.

Next week we should be back into the 70s though.

The term "Midnight Auto" used to mean something entirely different.

Rob,

I can tell that you grew up in the NYC Metro area.
but it was a good teaser, no??

40° Murph, we get out the shorts at 40°

Hey Rob is Avenel like the car dealer strip of NJ or what.
I'm trying to replace my GL and there are two dealers with like 25 of them.
mind you they both look like I would want to be very cautious in establishing a business relationship with them.

In fairness to Patty, she did say it was cold........"for here."

Thanks Roseanne for filling me in on the specifics of the cold snap in Cali. I will say those are not temps I'd expect you folks have often.

Those 50's you were getting during the day, are a reason to party in our neck of the woods in the month of December. That's were the temps were when Rick broke out the hose and the car washing bucket.

Our temps in the 50's are no more. This AM it is 23 balmy degrees. I only wish we too could expect temps in the 70's next week.

I guess Patty will wash those dirty Hondas when your temps are back in the 70's.

Yep, same here in Ohio. As I am posting this message, I looked at our indoor/outdoor thermometer by the computer, and it says 23.2 degrees.
