Thanks Roseanne for filling me in on the specifics of the cold snap in Cali. I will say those are not temps I'd expect you folks have often.

Those 50's you were getting during the day, are a reason to party in our neck of the woods in the month of December. That's were the temps were when Rick broke out the hose and the car washing bucket.
Same here. Hand washed two cars last week when it was in the 50s. Felt great to be outdoors in a sweatshirt! Usually don't get to wash the cars until April/May.

The wind is howling from the north. Rain is splattering the house and it's 39° out. Dang cold for so Cal.

Socks, slippers, hooded sweatshirt, blanket, and laptop. The laptop is, in all honesty, to keep me warm!

Came home tonight to my apartment feeling a bit chilly... 60 degrees inside. Um, that's just too cold.

It's a raw kind of cold tonight. Had a bunch of rain earlier and it was still spitting a bit when I got home. Got me some hot tea, some chocolate, all the remotes, and I'm tucked into this blanket until it's time to go to bed.

And there is NO way I would wash a car, or anything else for that matter, outside tonight!

16 degrees here right now. Only one day in the next 10, is predicted to be above freezing. My freshly hand washed car is covered in salt.
