Holy crap Batman! That looks like the Big Dig here in Boston. Great workmanship. Did you lay it all out youself, or did you have help from a landscape architecht? Looks very professional!

Very nice.

When did you say you were going to be in New Jersey? I have to tell Home Depot a delivery date.

Thanks all!

Matt - if it was up to me...I would have ashaulted all of the grass and built a small autox course on my lot...

Bill - we laid it all out ourselves. I had major help from my brother and a couple of friends. My brother does this on the side so he was a BIG help.

Deb - Denise designed it all. We plotted our entire lot on graph paper and she penciled in what she wanted. Minor changes during the construction and voila...For the planting, she decided on a general look then placed the plants where she wanted them still in the pots, then we moved them around until she was happy, then dug the holes.

Rob - I don't want to see another stone ...although I think next year we are going to add an upper patio. Once we got the bbq, table etc. placed we noticed it was a little tight so out comes more grass. Denise wants it raised one step from the middle patio with a raised rectangular planter in the middle. Going by this picture, it will be where the lawn chairs, table and bbq are...

I think I can swim that thing. Wow, what a great piece of work. You all should be very proud of all the handiwork. I noticed there was no place for Snatrix if we ever find him. Seriously though, it looks well worth all the trouble and wait. When can I come up for a first-hand inspection?
