Now we go went back to the middle patio and continued work on the other side of the pit of doom. The retaining wall of the lower patio flows into a single step (lower patio to the grass), the step flows into the face side of the pit of doom closing off the middle patio

 

Level out the limestone and Val starts tamping

 

Boxwoods are planted and Denise gives them a hair cut right away
