Sad news indeed. "Is this the day that the laughter died?" As I long time fan I immediately thought back to his appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny when he would seemingly go into his "stream of consciousness" monologues that would often have Johnny, the studio audience and me at home in tears of laughter.

As he did again in other performances like Mrs. Doubtfire and RV.

RIP Robin.

Another celeb that seemed to be born before our eyes in Mork and than transform into so many, many roles - some so funny they split your side and some so serious that you could not believe him the same person - and then they are gone all too soon. So sad.

I still think about how great his early HBO specials were when he worked a crowd. Sadly coke lit his fiery delivery and wit but he brought tears to my eyes with laughter.

My Dad suffered from depression and took his own life. 37 years later the pain remains.
