Default Motivational Speaker events

I am not one to attend these types of things, but I did happen to attend an event called thepowerwithin.

The speakers with various topics and presentations.

Richard Dolan - http://www.powerwithin.com/4105/speakers.a...r-richard-dolan (he was ok, but I didn't get him)
Mike Lipkin, http://www.powerwithin.com/4105/speakers.a...ker-mike-lipkin (liked him alot)
W. Brett Wilson - http://www.powerwithin.com/4105/speakers.a....-brett--wilson (my hero)
Phil Town - http://www.powerwithin.com/4105/speakers.a...eaker-phil-town (got the feeling he was selling a get rich quick scheme)
Key note speaker - http://www.powerwithin.com/4105/speakers.a...nt-bill-clinton (this guy is a great speaker, the reason I went to this event. I was quite impressed with his communitarian speach)

Overall.. a good day

Back in my days doing a lot of work with DuPont, I had to go to a lot of these motivational programs.

Just today I spoke with a young friend (and recent MBA) who is setting up one in DC at the Ritz Carlton/ Pentagon. She was asking for the OK to send an invite to some of my LinkedIn contacts I think that the main long-lasting benefit is to the pockets of the Management Consultants that set 'em up

So, what are you motivated to do after the long day?

Been to a few, and I usually forget everything before I get out the door.
