I'm very happy to have the +1 back in his own bathroom. I am not getting a shower door. The clear liner looks great as a curtain and works fine. Got a white curtain rod and hooks.

Did you get the rod that curves out? If you have to have a curtain, that's the one to have. Hate to have a cold curtain stick to my bod when I'm taking a shower.

No, but I've seen those. This curtain is fine. The +1 took a shower this morning with it there.

We did double rods on our shower.
The inner is a plastic liner and the outer technically is a shower curtain but a nice fabric.
If I had my way it would crystal clear lexan, but my wife prefers a little modesty.

I would take a pic of the curtain but the light would just reflect back and not be a very good one. So you will just have to use your imagination - white curtain rod, white hooks and a clear plastic liner hanging down. It looks really good and cost about $10 at Tarjay versus $1600-$2600+ for a glass door! A no brainer.

I've never been a fan of shower doors. My plumber tried to talk me into one, less chance of water getting on the floor. I know they are new and improved but cleaning (for me) would still be a PIA, so no sale. I've got a liner and a fabric curtain which ads a pop of color. I also have a window in the bathroom and the window valance matches the shower curtain, courtesy of my sister's sewing skills. I buy two shower curtains and she makes the valance out of one.

I try to purchase a sturdy liner that can be tossed in the washing machine and hung to dry. If I can't find one that will stand up to machine washing, I replace as needed. Soap scum can build up on them.

I'm sure you are glad to have your second bathroom back in order. Our house is large enough for two, but I sure would not mind a second bathroom.

A few relatives saw the bathroom this weekend and loved it. The on/off handle to the shower has to be replaced, so guys coming back to do that this week. It works but is loose. I expect the new one to arrive today.

Shower handle replaced yesterday. So bathroom is completely done. Yay...today is will be gorgeous out, so am taking a top-down drive over to the tile store to return two extra containers of grout. Those are the only things I'm taking back. Planning for what to buy for the restoration turned out well. But glad it is over!
