I'm also pondering whether a frameless shower door is going to work. The problem is I have the toilet and fixtures (control valve, etc) on the right facing the shower. It appears that one panel of a frameless shower has to be fixed and the other slides. Which means I would have to have the right panel fixed to go into the shower on the left. Not good. Whoever goes into the shower would have to turn it on in there rather than outside. Not appealing. Normally someone turns on the shower and tests for temperature before getting in. I am going to ask if a frameless one can be made with both panels sliding but I'm afraid the answer is going to be no. Big boo...I really do not like framed shower doors at all.

New pipes on fixture wall...other pipe pics (ceiling to vanity) in Pipe Replacement thread. I asked the pipe guys to please not disturb the diverter valve or handheld connection and they did a good job working around them. I had them test them yesterday to be sure they still worked properly and they did.

OK...drywall is almost done. Guys are putting primer on the walls/ceiling in prep for painting, but my restoration guys will do that after tile work is completed. Pics to follow. Mon rest of demo starts.

Drywall after pipe work complete. Few pics before the rest of the demo takes place. It might mess up the drywall in the ceiling, but no big deal. Guys did a good job.

OK...demo resumes today. Might be noisy. They may have to use a jackhammer to get up the tile from the floor! But glad to see progress. Now just have to figure out when the tile man can start.

Mess in the living room - blurry but you get the idea. Several items moved in there from the bathroom and hallway and some in there had to be moved out of the way. Already posted a pic of all the tile, etc in another part of the living room. This will be the condition for the next five weeks or so. I also will have to rearrange the balcony plants, etc so the tile man can put his cutting machine out there. I keep reminding myself it's temporary.

Banging away in there...should only be about another 1.5 hours of noise. Tile work will not start until April 9 due to pipe stuff going on in the building.
