Thanks, Dan!

I surely do consider myself extremely lucky to have both my folks still around and doing well (for the most part). I realize that I'm probably in the minority here in Vintage, and my sympathies go out to you guys who have lost parents. My mom talks to me occasionally about what her life was like, at 23, when she lost both her folks. It's awful. I know how much I'd miss mine.

Glad to hear about your dad's success with the operation. That must be a relief all around.

Good to hear all is going well. Joint replacements have become very commonplace.

Good to hear that your Dad is doing well. From someone that has been through the process, make sure that he follows his PT program. The more exercise the easier it will be later. The person that assisted me with my PT was pure hell "o", but with all his pushing I have no problems with my hip. I can almost run if I had to.

Karen and Charlie,

Happy to learn that it went well. We wish him a speedy recovery. The re-hab is important and I hope that he takes it seriously.

Please also give our regards to your mother. I will remind you that we met her at your party back in June.

Best regards,
Matt & Barbara

I hope he can leave the hospital on target (Saturday) to commence his rehab. He was a trooper today, doing quite a bit of standing and some shuffling with the walker. Unfortunately, there was a small complication today with an improperly seated catheter... I'm not sure they'll let him leave the hospital until he's mostly back to normal. Anyway, I think he'll be a pretty motivated guy through rehab.

I'll do that, Matt. Thanks!
