I'm not surprised that these women were willing to pose in the buff for a calendar (as I understand the calendar, they were modest in their poses). By the time you reach a certain age, all modesty pretty much gets shot by the nasty medical exams one finds are "necessary". I think its a cute calendar but I didn't feel the need to order one.

Darn Val - you were one of the FUN women I was talking about

Clothing is a must for a vintage calendar far as I'm concerned, and I'd even go so far as to say having an S in the picture might be a must too

What did I say that made you think I'm not fun? I thought I was hinting at posing in a fancy boa and nothing else for the S2k calendar. I'm simply saying that as we get older we find ourselves having to strip constantly for every single doctor on the planet, so modesty becomes a thing of the past. It could be that we simply become more comfortable with who we are and all that silliness that came with a few imperfections in youth isn't so important anymore. The skin we're in is simply surface material -- the real beauty of people is what lives inside.

Amen, sista! It's just that some of us need bigger boas than others.

I was thinking of dropping the top, standing with a foot in each seat, and doing the hula hoop with the boa around my neck.

Granny's (Scooter's) month would need a button to push for the Middle Eastern music accompaniment!

But now that you mention it, Jim, my gym DOES have a bellydancing class. Hummmmmm

They also have a spinning class (fast stationary bicycle) under a black light with neon lights on the bikes. So you're in the dark pumping to music. I'm going to have to check some of these classes out.

See, this is why plastic surgery is a billion dollar industry! What's a little sag, droops, and folds among friends?
