Thanks everyone . Most of the ones you've posted I have seen in my searches. I just can't take the chance of going the distance only to be disappointed. Thus the request for someone to be my eyes, pedal foot, etc.

My experience on Saturday was a big kick in the stomach. The guy I spoke with and the vehicle I looked at epitomized the problems with trying to buy a good used vehicle. What a tool bag.

Sam, I saw the one in Butler, but it's sold now.

Emil, that one's a little too chooched up for me .

Rob, looks like they're all a little out of my price range .

Gene, looks like that one's gone, too .

Matt, I saw that one in one of my searches and wondered if it was close to you. I would probably make the drive to check it out, and maybe meet you guys for lunch?

I did find a base model in Ohio that I'm going to try and see tomorrow afternoon if I can get out of work early. It may actually free up even more money for wedding bills and stuff than I was first thinking, so that would be nice. Wish me luck, and thanks again for helping me out .

Phil, there's one more at my local dealer, but I think it's out of your price range. Here it is, anyway.

There's only one black one around here, according to Autotrader, a 2006 with 64K miles for $18.9K.

That dealer is about sixteen miles away (which translates to about a three day drive here in Washington DC Metro traffic). Give me a call if you would like to have me go check it out. It is about five miles east from my office (towards DC). I could check it out after work during the week.

Having never have driven a Ridgeline I would not know exactly what to look for or at besides the obvious stuff. And the stuff that you care about like swirl marks on the black paint.

Hold the phone, people...I found one! Going to pick it up Thursday as soon as my step-father and I make the deal on the TL.

Thanks for all the help, and the offers to help further. And thanks for all the good "vibes" . I have no doubt that it definitely brought me this truck. By the way, it's the exact same model, color and everything, as the first one I bought in December in 2005. I've come full circle. I hope this means that there's another S2000 and NSX in my future .
