Sue, Here is a little background on Grant; which I hope he does not mind my sharing. He’s been an S2000 member for 15 years and lives in Naples, FL where he owns a children’s retail shop. My dealing with Grant took place in 2013 when he bought my memorabilia collection weighing 138 pounds and included nearly 80 die casts, nearly 60 sales brochures from around the world (one rare one at the time was selling for $90), nearly 500 magazine articles from around the world, etc., etc.). It was my understanding everything but the die cast models were going to be donated to the Collier Auto Museum/Revs Institute Library. At the time he owned a supercharged 2002 with an AP2 engine. I believe a Vette may have replaced that. His number one hobby is flat boat fishing.

Dave, thanks for the info. I know that Grant has been active in the forums for a long time, and I have seen many posts from him. However, I don't think my husband and I have ever met him in person.

Dave, I'm glad that your extensive collection has gone to a good home, including an auto museum and library.

My husband and I are pulling for Grant.

I think we met him at a Nor'Easter many years ago. Just before he drove from home to the west coast. We will include him in our prayers, may God be gracious to him.

I got to know him some years ago when he came up to Cleveland for a procedure of some sort at the Cleveland Clinic. He was looking for something to do to spend the time, and Virginija, little Anika and I took him to Great Lakes Brewing Company. We also visited him last summer in Naples when we were there. An absolutely great guy. I'm trusting that he'll beat this.

When we visit Naples in the winter I always stop by his Children's store which his wife operates. We would sit outside at the Bas Ass coffee shop and talk. Grant fished and does the books. When he bought his new Corvette he took me for a ride then let me drive it. I was nervous until he said get on it, which I did. Wow, what a machine. I am still praying for him and hope he beats this thing. Then in March I plan on getting another ride in his Vette. Hang in there buddy.

Just reading this and wishing Grant the best outcome. Life sucks sometime. Any news from the operation re-sched for Friday?
