I think the movies suck. It's ok if you like to watch series which I don't but wife does. It's her TV so she wants to sign up. We have Apple TV for movies, which is fine.

Our local library has Harry and the Snowman in its DVD collection. For these old movies, I prefer to just request it from the library.

You can rent movies through IMDb.com and imdbpro.com as well. Harry and Snowman is available for $3.99 via Amazon.

I didn't really try shopping around for Harry and Snowman since I assumed I would simply watch it during my free month. But, I wasn't in any mood to jump through hoops to see it and just ordered it. If it's half as good as some of the horse lovers thought -- it will make +1 happy and a happy wife is a happy life. Going to the Library takes planning.

Gene, good to hear you're enjoying The Grand Tour. The wife and I watched so many of their shows in the past I really started getting tired of them. The wife probably enjoyed their shows more than I did in the latter seasons. For some reason she always thought Richard was cute.

Free Netflix. What a deal. I think we watched 3 movies over the entire month and a couple comedians that weren’t very good.

Our free Netflix ends Tuesday so I thought I better cancel it today. No problem.

I call Netflix and they tell me I have to cancel the plan through Xfinity. I call Xfinity and their recorder tells me I have to cancel online going to netflix\cancelplan. BTW, Xfinity’s system will not let me get through to an agent to do this. So I go back to the online cancelation and it takes me to CancelWizard which wants to charge me a fee to do it. So I don’t. So I recall Xfinity and tell the system I want to talk to a billing agent and don’t mention Netflix. The system tells me I will be charged $5.95. WTF.

Update: I called Xfinity again. Got to an agent! He was sure NOT how to cancel since it hasn't showed on my bill (imagine that). So he transferred me to another Dept and I finally reached a nice lady who took care of it. And no charge.

I agree. To sign up for something it takes one click but to cancel it you have to jump through hoops.
