Default New intrusive POP up ads!

This evening I have found that the new pop up ads are not only annoying but they block content that I am trying to read or post. The Progressive ads even take me to a new page that I have to close to continue to read what I was reading.

Perhaps it is an effort to chase guest away from this site? Do you members also have to dodge and weave around these intrusive ads?

At any rate, you may be seeing less of me (please stop the applauding) as a result of these annoying pop-ups.

Matt, I see no ads since I am a member and also have the AdBlock App running on Chrome.

Please, please, please post about site issues in the Site Info sub-forum. People with much more influence than a lowly sub-forum moderator like me will see it and can maybe help.

I'm not saying don't post here too, but the peeps with pull look there more than here.

Use both AdBlock and Ghostery. Ghostery will get rid of a lot of the crap that content providers attempt to foist on you. (and thanks Murph, that's a good idea).

No problems here with Adblock Plus.

Looks like you're an expired member, Gene. Says Guest.

I'm a fancy Gold Member so I don't see any ads.

Not really, Patty...see this thread. They refunded my double payment, but reverted me back to Guest, even though the first Gold Member payment was made. I have e-mailed them again.

Matt, I am seeing NO additional ads than before. 1 on top of the page, 1 on the bottom, that's it. I am also a guest.

I'm using FF predominantly, but do check some things on IE periodically.

Perhaps it's something else? Maybe a screenshot would help explain.
