Thumbs up For the new model S2000.....

OK, let's say Honda comes out with some really impressive improvements for 2008.....some of the S2000 CR goodies but more creature comforts for us folks Maybe more power and updated 'classic' exterior design

Let's also say that you're READY for a new S.....new car payments or you won the lottery....whatever.

NOW, vote for what dollar amount you would be willing to pay
.... and let us know your other thoughts

I have a 2003 S with <20,000 miles, so Honda would have to come out with something very impressive for me to even consider tradeing in my car.

My '06 is still too new to consider a trade. A new car would have to be a HUGE improvement to make me want to trade my baby.

Perhaps you should consider driving it more.

I see zero value in the S2000 CR that would cause me to get rid of my '02 and "upgrade" to the CR.

I am very disappointed in the direction Honda has been taking the S2000.

Well, I'm not in the running, either, since I just upgraded last July.

It's taken me five years to get mine like I want it. I'm not looking to start over any time soon.

Tough question. The idea of the CR is one I can appreciate. Part of the reason many of us bougth the S2000 was it's rather extreme nature - minimal luxury, maximum performance. The CR is a step further in that direction. Unfortunately, a small step only.

Honda made a huge mistake in showing it in that smurfy-looking blue (I understand it's better in real life, but in photos it looks bad, which is where 99% of the population sees it first).

Besides the fact that I have no desire or ability to start several more years of payments (my '02 is paid off as of last month), I like my color combo - Sebring with full red interior. Now, if they offered the CR in GPW with full red, and something happened to mine, I would definitely consider it. However, I wouldn't pay much more than the base S plus hardtop price.

Geez, you guys don't read the 'assumptions'. It's just a philosophical question and related to price/ value
