Default New Top

After 22 years, despite still having a clear (non yellowed) plastic window, I had my top replaced. I had Jeremy (2poor2mod) do the install of a fabric glass top and it went and looks great! The black fabric is much deeper black than the vinyl.

My original top started to show cracking in fold sections on each side. A replacement was inevitable.

Since the original top was still nice and my car is still mostly OEM (or I have the OEM parts that were removed), Jeremy carefully removed the original top so I could include it in a sale if I wanted to in the future.

I changed the top on my S2000 myself, and I have to say it wasn't too bad. I did have a little help at a couple of points from Rob, my oldest.

Nothing like a new top to freshen up a car, except maybe new or restored headlights. Enjoy!

after watching Jeremy work for almost 3 hours, it is more than I would tackle on my own.

Applying a film to the headlights preserves them forever. Never need to restore or replace again for hazy lenses. 3M, Expel (what I used) are all examples. Lots of times you can swing by one of the film/stereo auto shops and get scraps for free that will work.
