Amphibians can't be president any way, so it's kind of a moot point.
Maybe he could have Kermit the Frog for a running mate. Kermit turned 50 the other day.

Not to leave Bush out of the firing line:
Don Rumsfeld is giving George W Bush his daily briefing and tells him that three Brazilian soldiers have been killed in Iraq. George says "that's absolutely terrible", is at a loss for words, and holds his head in his hands for several minutes. His staff is amazed at the response, and the whole room stays silent. Finally George lifts his head from the table and says "exactly how many is a brazillion?"

Not entirely true. If the candidate is a person, their method of gas exchange is irrelevant. While no human amphibians exist to day (that I know of) I hold out hope.
BTW, most adult amphibians have lungs and carry out gas exchange the same way as humans. In most cases only the juvenile form of amphibians have gills.

Why not. It would probably be an improvement.

He's too green for me. My vote would have to go to Dr. Bunsen Honeydew of the Isn't Science Nifty Foundation for Pres. and his faithful assistant Beaker for V.P..
Mr. Peabody and his faithful boy Sherman.

Yea don't tell me Aquaman isn't real.....
I read his books.
Kept them right next to my fine literature collection of Classics Illustrated. The playboys were down at the bottom....
