Default NFL Playoffs

It's that time of the year. Who do you think is going to do well in the playoffs? Who's going to take it all? Will the Colts recapture their momentum and roll through the playoffs? Will the Pats, who have come on strong of late, be a factor? What about Da Bears and their defense? Seattle?

I don't follow foot ball closely. Although, I enjoy watching a good game like todays game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins. With their fifth victory in a row there is little doubt that the Skins are on a roll and heading to the playoff's.

As for me, I would like to see the Redskins make it all the way to "The Show". Then, even though I would love to see Joe Gibb's win another Super Bowl, as I think that he is a class act and a great coach. In the end, on Super Bowl Sunday, I would like to see the team that has the best record for the entire season and that deserves the win. Win it in the end. Not a team that has played well all season long and deserves to be there lose the biggest game of many of the players careers just because of a bad call, or because of an off day, especially if due to injuries.

At least on paper it looks the the AFC teams are stronger than the NFC teams and should win the super bowl in Feb. That being said they still have to play the games.

I really don't have a dog in this fight (How 'bout them Dawgs!), but it seems the Seahawks have quietly produced an outstanding team and record. I give them the edge in the NFC.

As for the AFC, I've got to pull for the Colts, especially in light of recent events. But the Pats are still the champs until someone proves otherwise.
