Default Nice thing about this forum

I have to say one of the things that keeps me from giving up this forum or wanting to ever leave is the advice and help from all the members here. I find that no matter what I want to know more about or where I may wish to visit on this planet, there is someone here who knows exactly what I need to know. I come for advice, for friendship and for knowledge. A simple example (and only one of many) is that I wanted to stay over in Delaware near the ferry before SF '09. I simply fired off a pm to Gene, got several recommendations and now know exactly the place I want to stay and where I'll be having dinner the night before. Need computer help? Come here. Need to know a good book to read? Come here. Need advice about just about any type of automobile you may wish to try out? Come here. Need to know almost anything about anything? Come here. I love it. Thanks, guys and dolls.

We have also received help in planning trips to AZ, VA, ME and other places. I've learned new things to do on the computer, how to post pictures, learned about new gadgets, asked for and received helpful opinions when purchasing items, and have received good common sense advice/opinions in many other areas. I've taken endless polls which provide vital information into the Vintage psyche , most important, I've shared moments with my family with you all, and shared moments with you in person.

Thanks everyone. See many of you very soon.

Well of course there is comic relief here. This place makes me laugh regularly. It's why I've been hanging around so long......

I live less than 2 miles from the Lewes ferry. If you are interested and want to hook up let me know. My wife and I would be happy to meet you. Unfortunately, I cant make SF due to a family commitment or I would be going over with you. PM me if you want. Ray

I never trust anything anyone says over the internet.
