Default Nor'Easter 08...

O.K.if I understand well,registration,on Friday afternoon,followed by a welcome cocktail...
What about,Friday night supper ???

Would it be a good idea,to organise,a get together supper(everybody pays for him/herself),something like we had last August at the G.G.S.???

It could be as simple as Pizza,or Hamburgers,or Lobster...

It,s a good way to get acquainted, and prepared to spend a nice week-end together.!!!
What do you think???

-Emil.

Emil, there is a casual restaurant/lounge in the same building where the reception will be held, which is right across the parking lot from the hotel.

My guess is that folks will likely congregate there to grab a bite to eat.

I keep meaning to stop by there and check it out, so I could "review" the restaurant, but haven't done so yet.

I'll try to do that in the next week or two.

Galley Grill

Here's a review of the restaurant which is on site. Entrees not too expensive, Fish Fry on Friday, and some lighter fare as well.

Again, I'll try to check it out in the next little while.

Very good,Lainey...
I did not mean,something expensive,or high class; just a pretext(I guess,this is not a good english word...) to get together,get acquainted,and have a good time,together...

It's only,4 weeks away...

I knew what you meant, Emil. Getting together is good. I think socializing will be easily accomplished on the weekend of the Nor'Easter.

For the record, in case anyone is wondering... I'm not organizing any particular dinner on Friday of the Nor'Easter. IF I have time, I'll try to check out the restaurant before the event.

The set up at the hotel, and restaurant will be great for mingling and hanging out together.

My excuses Lainey;did not mean to stir trouble... :

(I was just thinking,of the dinner at that lobster place, forgot the name, last Nor'Easter.
And also, that pizza supper we all enjoyed, last summer,at the Gathering,in Garden State.;was really nice.

Emil, you didn't stir up any trouble! Getting together is a good thing.

I just think that we'll all easily be together on Friday night without any need to organize...........of course I've been wrong before.
