Jonas, have you had any Vixen lately? I think the last time I had any it was yours.
There are now a variety of Macallans.
I haven't tried the newer varieties, i.e. the Oak series.
but the 18 or 25 yr old sherry series are something special and about the price will reflect the difference.
Best served in a brandy snifter to allow the warmth of your hand to release and capture the subtle aromas.
expect $180-200 for a fifth of the 18 year, $750 -$1k for the 25.

The good news is I liked it before it was "discovered", sadly others have discovered it as well.
