check foodtv.com, probably a few recipes and techniques there. I like the good eats program with Alton Brown. Tivo it every day.

My relatives in NC used to make homemade peach ice cream. I could bring something and call it homemade...

One of the associates in my office loves the food channel. I don't seem to be able to stick with those cooking shows. I remember my mother watching the Galloping Gourmet when I was a kid.

^ The best one was Justin Whatshisname...the Louisiana cooking guy. I loved him.

Cheesy, but I like to watch Emeril Lagasse (sp?) every now and then and bought one of his cookbooks -- I really love to cook, but . . . never have enough time to do it the way I'd like. BTW -- anybody know how to make dandelion wine? I've always thought it would be neat to get rid of my lawn weeds that way. Isn't it amazing that when we become more mature thinking, we always want to go move into a simpler (Little House) way of life? Its also good to know that when we need someone to take care of tasks -- like cutting cheese, we can always count on OR!!!! Sorry, Carmen -- its my vintage mind -- it sometimes becomes deviant!!!

Carmen's not on s2ki.com today. He's spending the day doing Internet research on the weight of 2500# of mud.....and the capacity of various models of jacuzzi
