Seems like we are spending money like a bunch of drunken sailors, but no drunken sailors allowed on Bill's boat!

Very nice boat, Bill!
Au contraire...drunken sailors are a must on any fishing boat. It is a requirement.

I started the process earlier this month, Dave. I didn't buy anything a few months ago. I did buy an 18 footer about two years ago.

On this boat, I found a dealer that would take my 26 foot Robalo in on trade. Here she is getting ready to head to North Carolina.

(Nice boat, LB.)
Up here we have people with trailers that take the boat to the launch ramp. You just have to pay them money.

(Thank Gene!)

Maybe. How much did Scoots pay for his house? Remember Lainey, we live in the second or third most expensive housing area in the country. Here, Scoots house would cost a million dollars. Maybe Scoots can build that house for $1,000 and a bushel of beets.

Yeah, it took me a while to remember the process, Dave. I don't post pictures here very often. I do like the lines of the Grady. I always wanted one. I'm guessing this may be the biggest boat I'll every buy, so I bought one that I can count on to last for ten years.

You think they could have found a bigger trailer?

Very nice boat Bill!! I know you will enjoy it.

We have a boat once. The problem with Lake Erie is that if you trailer the boat and see that the lake is smooth by the time you get to the boat ramp, get it launched, park your car and get to the break wall the damn lake has kicked up some much you can't get out of the harbor. For as little as I used it I figure that I got the price of perch down to about $600 a pound. :bangHead:
