Is that because no one can hear the radio with the top down in an S --- even an '06 with its pathetic little headrest speakers?
Actually, as I get older I find that I can barely hear the radio even with the top up.

It is why I'm still addicted to riding motorcycles. The sounds, the involvement, the sensations, the panorama, .......

Welcome to my world. Frankly I never understood why they put radio's in sports cars. But I quess there are times when it does rain so hard you need to put the top up.

That's what we did all the way through Oregon back to Boise from Seattle last weekend.

After I hit the magic 600 miles in Mystic, I *really* enjoyed listening to the engine!

Congratulations. So what do you think of the 2.2L engine and your new VTEC experience?

I never have had a radio in my Pantera. The sound of the "Cleveland Symphony" playing behind the seat is too pretty to cover up.

On the other hand, in the S2K, I crank up a Peter Frampton CD to cover up the drone of the JIC Magic exhaust and keep telling myself "It only weighs 17 lbs."

Of course I'm only 60, so when I get old, I may appreciate the silence of the wife's Grand Marquis.

Do you still have the Pantera? We just saw one last week at a summer evening car show in a local parking lot.
