I'm not a big Olympics fan generally speaking, but I have to say this has been a very nice event so far, the French have done well with the venues (other than the river contamination and fashion show).

I also read that the swimmers were having a tougher time against the current of the Seine.

Some swimmers had to drop out due to Seine illnesses.

Dave, I hope Donna saw the jumping competition today. It was wild and crazy! Never seen so many penalties and other mistakes. The course was very challenging.

I wish that the Olympics had a "term limit" so others would have a chance to advance. I also it was ALL amateurs. Professional basketball, soccer, tennis, etc makes me not want to watch.

It worked; we watch them together. I don't mind watching the horses; it is way better than the gym stuff .. .. stuff like the balance beam drives me nuts.

U.S. has the most gold medals so far. I also agree that professionals should not be allowed to compete. I would rather see college athletes compete.

Sadly, that horse left the barn quite awhile ago.
