You must have gone to the back of the cave to find that one. As I've mentioned before Bill Haley and the Comets were the first 'live' R&R band I ever saw.

There's a lot written about Bill Haley and the Saddlemen in the literature about the early days of Rock & Roll.

I have no idea if this is a one hit wonder but I love this song. Actually, it's about the men digging the Erie Canal in Buffalo, NY calling out to the prostitutes to come out to spend the night with them. A great song.
