Thank you for sharing.... I have a 7y/o daughter and a 4y/o son; they haven't done anything like that YET. I am sure it will come soon.

I don't have any pictures but my youngest daughter knocked part of the front on our garage off its foundation!

Her older sister told her to go out and start the car (it was winter) but she didn't drive so she didn't know that you need to push the clutch in!!

TOTALLY identified with the messy room. That picture brought back memories.

I think most everyone with kids can identify with the messy room. My son's room never got quite that bad; my niece's room looked like that though.

But there is a bonus for having kids. Grandkids. Much more fun. You spoil them, and then you get to send them home.

The joys of parenting!

When my son was about 4 I cooked stuffed shells and a nice red sauce. He wanted to eat in the living room becuase it was Saturday....you can see where this is going. I had my plate and a nice glass of red wine all set up and asked him to just put down some napkins. Well he knocked over the TV table and everything went basically flying into the wall. There was a river of red sauce and red wine running down between the carpet and the wall. I took several hours to clean the carpet and I just had to paint the wall.

Good times....good times.

Yesterday my kid broke a hamburgler glass from McDonald's. I said to my wife, "We just can't keep nice things with these kids around."

I just made that story up. AJ moved to school last Sunday and Sandy already has his old room suitable for company. I'm surprised she didn't have to hire a contractor for the job.
