Only for parents
probably the most damaging was #1 son leaving the sun roof of my MB E430 open in the rain.
you see those center console shifters are electro-mechanical and not conformally coated, so they don't take real kindly to getting wet.
11:45 pm: "dad, the engine is revving really hard and it won't go more that 60 mph"
"and a bunch of lights are on on the dash board...."

Well, I couldn't sell my kid, nor could I shoot him and bury him in the back yard (the wife was rather fond of him), so I was kinda stuck with him
He was 5 when I got him, so he was already house-broken...although I do seem to remember an incident with melted crayons on velour seats.
Anyways, he's 18 now and starting his second year of college, so he's not underfoot. He never asks to drive my S (I think I love this kid), so we're good

I have want to kill them, sell them, give them away, etc. but I would not have missed having my three wonderful children for anything. They were the sparkle in their late mothers eye no matter what they did. They gave us three wonderful grandchildren that will soon give them the trouble and joy that we endured.

^^ which is fine as long as they don't leave their spawn on your doorstep and run away.
