Let me go on record here and now . . . I sometimes come to S2ki because real-life situations have caused to seek refuge. If I have EVER posted in jest or seemingly seriously anything at anytime to make any of you feel I am pompous, arrogant or a real little jerk, please do not take it personally. I simply every one of you here. I have poured out wayyyyy tmi on many occasions because you guys are my sanctuary in the time of storm. My +1 often wonders why, why, why I feel such a strong connection here, but I love this place, I count you all my friends and many of you I've never had the pleasure of meeting face to face. Grannyrod, MsPerky, Kyras and I were here almost from the beginning and have had the pleasure of sharing each other's company on many occasions. I've pm'd, e-mailed, telephoned and whined, cried and simply appreciated them more than they'll ever know. Rob, Jerry and many more of you were here from Day One. I love you guys. You are my friends and you are my family. We gather together as often as we can make it and I cherish every moment of time we've spent together. May Vintage go on forever. I'm not narcissistic enough to think that should I ever depart, you'll just wither and die. The forum will go on with or without me. I like the with me part.

Hmmmm, I guess all that tmi is the part that creeps me out thinking about the possible thousands of lurkers out there . . . (where's the theme music from a creepy horror movie when you need it??)

Damn! This thread concerns me! Although I have been around S2ki for nearly three years, I am relatively new to Vintage (even though I'm way overqualified in the age requirement). I have obviously missed out on some of the "history" within this community, and I think I'm glad I have. Over the years I have witnessed several "foot stomps" in other Forums on this site, so I started coming to Vintage for a little maturity. Now, it sounds like we have some thin skinned people here too! C'mon, we're supposed to be the mature ones here! We all have one common interest that brought us here in the first place...our S2000 cars! Let's not forget that. Now, take your car out for a drive through the twisties and let the "S-Factor" and the fresh air renew your mind and soul, and remind you why you came here in the first place.

Not to worry, Spokesman. We have had some squabbles here from time to time, but it's only temporary.

We promise when you meet us at a meet, you won't see evidence of any squabbles.

And a ride in the S cures many things, especially a bad mood.
