Default Perhaps the ultimate "Man Cave"?

I can not help but wonder how this person made his fortune ? I also wonder why anyone needs a 9,000 square foot house? One would have to assume that he is NOT married?

Not being married can indeed help as I have personally seen a few airline pilots do rather well without the benefit of marriage.

The big bucks are always made with an owned business.

Yeah I probably wouldn't have vintage Alfa Romeo hubcaps and pedal pads on display in my living room if I was married.

My wife, on the other hand, was interested in one property that was a Shouse (aka a big old shop with living quarters attached) She even brought up the idea. Now, the living quarters would probably not have hubcaps on the walls lol. We cannot fathom having a house that large. Seems dumb to me but to each their own. We are purposely shopping for things <2000 sq ft as we just do not need that much space. Have even found some around 1200 sq ft we were interested in but no good internet (which I have to have to work). I mean, how many rooms are you going to spend time keeping dusted and clean? Rather spend my time outside and in the shop as much as possible vs sitting in the big house box.

to your wife engineer to see more n more women enthusiasts
I have owned many cars mostly fun ones and a few mom type when my Sons were young, as they became young men they learned quickly from me that they are cars though and that they came 1st that said I love that mine and my Husband aka C-6's passion for cars ( mostly sports cars ) has instilled a passion in them

As for that unneeded space your smart , we have more rooms than needed for 2 of us but when the 3 Sons and +1s are here all at once its nice that they can be comfy & have a room

Matt, the first video was a hobby gone a muck but all it takes is money. All those signs in "4 years".

I guess I am darn lucky. I think my wife would let me put hub caps in the living room. There would be some push back but we support one another's hobby. If she wants to put a saddle in there she can but it has to be on something better than a saw horse. When it comes to living rooms we don't make a big deal about it since we only use it on holidays. The dog loves it; best view of the street.

For example, this painting of the first lap of LeMans in 1955 was the first thing people would see entering our house. We recently painted the wall a different color so I moved it to an upstairs hallway.

there will be a time when we drop down in size. There are two things preventing it right now.
1) the thought of the moving process still gives me nightmare's.
2) We don't know where we want to move to.

When we do move it will most likely be a single level structure. with a great big garage.

Before I got married, I had BMW cylinder heads sitting on the dining room table. And suspension parts strewn about the living room. They've been replaced with potted plants.
