My personal favorite that I think that I posted years ago was a plate on the back of a Ford pickup truck that had a Summit Point Road racing bumper sticker on it: The plate was: "O2BA4RE"
Oh, to be a Ferrari!
it's OK Ferrari wanted to be a pickup, it must be why they tried to name their F1 car the F150

These were not personalized plates but license plate frames.

When we lived in Southern California back in the mid 80's I was driving to work one morning on surface streets near Norwalk and I pulled up next to a "stunning" impeccably dressed woman, perhaps in her early forties, driving a Mercedes Benz 500SL. The bronze license frame on her car stated:

Born Free

Now, I'm expensive

The other fun one was on a Toyota Supra here locally in Virginia. It was mounted UPSIDE down on the rear plate, and simply stated:

Happiness is being Polish.

My wife got a plate "Having A", and I got her a frame with a big FIT on the bottom.

Why does it seem that a lot of urologists like vanity plates?

The urologist I knew had "DR PEE" as his license plate. His last name was Patrick.
