Increase "lift"?? Or down force? It seems like it would act like a "wicker bill" on a Champ car and increase down force incrementally.

Speaking of Gurneys influence on the car. It makes me wonder if Ford will offer a "Gurney bubble* " for tall drivers?

Because Dan Gurney was too tall to fit in the car with his helmet on, Ford made his car with a bubble in the top of the door panel in the roof line to accommodate him. Back then, aside from the car number it was easy to pick Gurney's car out because of the bubble in the roof line.
I read recently that Dan got a Ford GT, and it did have the "Gurney bubble" in the roof.

I love that car. I've always wanted a Ford GT, even if it was a kit car version. If ever I hit the Lotto, the GT would be the second thing I would get, after paying off the house, etc.

F360 = Ferrari = that one word pretty much says it all in most car circles

Gallardo = Unknown to most, thus the ooooooh's only come if they see it

Ford GT = American icon but it is a Ford

By the way I do have an autographed picture from Dan . . . remember Dan for Pres!

You know, Patty, if you get the red one, we'll still let you roll with us in the Buckeye Run to Marietta. I guess you'll have to lead. Catch her if you can!
Too many miles to drive back again. I would never lead on that drive. I'm scared of the hills where you get to the top and don't know where the road goes next.

Nice pix, Patty. We had one at our local dealer recently, but I missed the chanced to see it.
